Thank you for your interest in Stage Harbor Yacht Club. We are a community that is passionate about sailing and enjoying our beautiful waterways in Chatham.  As a volunteer driven organization, we ask that every member play a role in making our Club a welcoming and fun place for all members. 

To apply for membership, we ask that you take the following steps.   

Please note that while we do not have a waitlist at the moment, we are regularly assessing our membership numbers and are committed to ensuring that we are able to provide the best sailing and social experience for our members.

1. Fill out this Membership Application. Applications are due by February 1, 2024. 

2. Take part in an Zoom interview with our Membership Committee. You will receive an email with options for available dates and times once your membership application and proposer forms have been submitted*. 

3. Ask your two proposers to fill out the proposer form located on our website. *Please note that if you do not have a proposer, we will discuss options during the interview process; you will have a chance to note this on your application.  

Our application timeline is as follows:

September 1: Applications are open, interviews will begin in October and take place through the winter.

February 1: Last date for Applications for Summer 2024.

March 15: Membership Invitations are sent via email.

April 15: Initiation and Annual Dues payments due.
