Come listen to some jazz, and sample hors d’oeuvres provided by fellow members—and remember to bring one of your own (just remember to put your name on the bottom of the dish!). 46TH ANNUAL LUAU

18 July, Saturday, 1230-1630
Luau Beach (east side of cut) One of the great events of our summer—bring the entire family to the inside of Harding’s Beach—east of the cut—for an afternoon of cooking out, family-oriented competition and fun. No boat? No worries—just show up at the end of Chief’s Pier beginning at noon for a lift to the beach. Is this the year the greased watermelon contest returns? Come and find out!! Bathing suits and shorts a must!

JOINT DANCE WITH CHATHAM BEACH AND TENNIS CLUB

20 July, Monday, 1800-2000
Chatham Beach and Tennis Club All sailing-school age kids are welcome to join kids from the Beach Club for an early evening of fun and dancing. Last year’s event was a success, so we look forward to this becoming an annual mixer between the two Clubs. Nice casual.

3RD ANNUAL CHIEF’S PIER CLAM BAKE

25 July, Saturday, 1800-2200
On the pier at SHYC Come join fellow adult members of Stage Harbor Yacht Club and celebrate on Chief’s Pier with a real New England clam bake—steamers, lobsters, corn on the cob and chowder. For those who prefer, chicken is available. Come watch the sunset and catch the cool southwest breeze. Please feel free to bring your own beverages. Look for your invitation in the mail and be sure to sign up quickly as this event is always a sell-out. Casual attire for all.
