Shark Week!

This week SHYC members are celebrating Shark Week with a number of fun and educational activities. On Monday our older students took part in a shark (Dogfish) dissection led by the Atlantic Great White Shark Conservancy . On Tuesday, students of all ages will have the chance to take part in shark activities and learn more about these amazing creatures. On Thursday, adult members are invited to hear from Dr. Greg Skomol, a local biologist and shark expert. By the end of the week our membership will be well informed about Chatham's newest mascot!

 Fundraising Update

We are well on our way to meeting our fundraising goal of $219,500 to retire the remaining debt on the pier purchase and fund improvements for the new Sailing School Center.  We invite all members to participate in this important endeavor, and welcome pledges in any amount.  Please click below for more information on the campaign and how you can contribute.
